Medicines Management Technician

Full Time, 42 hours per week

Term Time only (mostly Monday to Friday)

£27,908 - £31,949 per annum depending on experience

Medicines management technicians are an essential and highly valued part of our School and College. This is a new role in our growing team where you will be working with 3 other technicians, 2 trainees, 4 GPs and a large team of nurses. You will use your skills to transcribe medicines onto our electronic system, manage stock and storage, and share the responsibility for medicine audits across the 6 boarding houses, and classrooms. While we do not have a dispensing pharmacy, we offer a dynamic and challenging role in a busy health centre which supports our students. 

In order to apply for this role, you must be GPhC registered as a Pharmacy Technician alongside holding a BTEC or NVQ 3 in pharmaceutical sciences (or equivalent). You must also be comfortable with giving advice, problem solving and communicating with a wide range of people. A full training programme is provided.
