Join our community of care, learning, possibility — and a whole lot more!

At Treloar’s, we are so much more than you might expect. We are a school, a college, and for many of our students who live on site, we are also six care homes — all on one unique campus. Together, we are creating a world where physically disabled young people can take control of their lives and achieve their aspirations.

Every day here is different. Every day matters. And every day, you will make a difference.

“No two days at Treloar’s are ever the same! I go home knowing I’ve made a difference to the students I work with.”

Whether you’re just starting your career or looking for your next step, we’re looking for positive and energetic people to join our team. Our roles cover everything from education and therapy to residential support, healthcare, and beyond — and everyone plays a vital part in helping our students live, learn and thrive.

What does that look like?

Your day might consist of:

  • Helping students get ready for the day — or settle for the night
  • Supporting them to stay safe and well 24/7
  • Enabling students to communicate - with speech, technology, pictures or signing
  • Supporting students to build friendships and social confidence
  • Joining them on exciting trips and celebrating milestones like the prom
  • Giving medicines, using the latest technology
  • Administering tube feeds on time, or feeding students, in the dining room
  • Using your wide range of clinical skills to meet students’ individual health needs
  • Encouraging students to achieve their learning goals and/or pass exams
  • Helping students to move with confidence using wheelchairs, hoists or trikes

“Such a rewarding job. … Amazing training opportunities.”

We will give you all the training you need, over 12-18 months, with an ongoing 9 paid training days per year, to support our students with their complex health and care needs — no experience required. You will learn from experienced nurses, therapists, social workers and managers, gaining recognised qualifications such as Level 3 Diplomas, and skills that can take you forward.

At Treloar’s, our values guide everything we do:

  • We act with integrity and respect
  • We are inclusive — everyone belongs here
  • And we strive for excellence in everything we do.

“Treloar’s is a really friendly, inclusive place to work.”

“I feel appreciated by the staff I work with.”

When you join Treloar’s, you will become part of a community that values you as an individual. You will be supported, encouraged, and given opportunities to grow — whether that’s developing within your team, progressing to roles like a Team Leader, Manager or Therapy Assistant, or moving into other health and care careers in the future.
