Physiotherapy Support Worker

We have an exciting opportunity to expand our Physiotherapy team! We are looking to appoint Physiotherapy Support Workers to provide support to the Physiotherapy team in delivering treatment programmes for children and young people.
In this rewarding role you will support students in their daily routines by integrating physiotherapy programmes into education, residential, and therapeutic activities, while monitoring progress and reporting back to the Physiotherapy team. Each day will consist of set time supporting students on the boarding houses, this will include supporting students to get up in the morning and completing their stretching programme. There will also be time during the school day working with students in the class, in their Physio sessions and in the pool.
The ideal candidates should possess a minimum of one year of experience working with children and/or young adults who have physical and/or learning disabilities. A solid general education is required, including maths and English at grades 9 – 4 / A – C, along with basic computer skills. Strong communication abilities are essential, as well as the capability to work with young people and a wide variety of professionals.
