Ready to play a key role in supporting our students and staff? Join our Transport Team and help keep Treloar’s moving

Treloar’s is seeking a reliable and safety‑focused Driver to support our School and College community. You will drive minibuses and coaches to a range of destinations, ensuring students travel safely and comfortably.

Key Responsibilities

  •        Drive minibuses and coaches to various destinations, ensuring safe and compliant transport
  •        Support MiDAS training for staff under the direction of the Transport Manager
  •        Secure and release wheelchairs and safety harnesses in confined spaces
  •        Ensure vehicles are roadworthy and clean, reporting any issues promptly
  •        Maintain adequate wheelchair and passenger safety equipment on each vehicle
  •        Assist with loading, transporting and delivering stores
  •        Support safeguarding and promote the welfare of all students

The successful candidate will hold a D1 or D licence (or be willing to work towards obtaining a D licence), be MiDAS trained or prepared to undertake training, and be able to work flexibly within a rota system. You should have strong time‑management skills, enjoy working as part of a team, and relate well to young people. Safe, confident driving in line with the Highway Code is essential.

Hours: 42 hours per week, Term time only

Salary £26,804 per annum (pro rata for part time)
